Natalie & Aaron's Rocky Mountain Wedding

Natalie and Aaron celebrated their wedding on August 8th, 2011 in Canmore, Alberta. With friends and family spread out all over Canada, they wanted to choose a place that everyone could come and enjoy. The Canadian Rockies was an ideal choice for a mountain get-away that all the guests could enjoy.
The gazebo at the Silvertip Golf Resort with its spectacular mountain backdrop was selected for the ceremony with the reception being held afterwards in The Pavilion at Silvertip, well known for its incredible cuisine.
We couldn't have asked for better weather, and the sun shone brightly on the wedding date. The couples' choice of burnt orange and cranberry as their wedding colors, provided a striking contrast to the natural beauty of the outdoors.
Special thanks to Snap Weddings (Photography and Videography),Mandala Floral (flowers), Mountain Marriages (officiant), Cake Creations (cupcakes), Trena Laine (make-up), DB Sounds (DJ), and all of the staff at Silvertip for their contributions in making Natalie and Aaron's wedding day so special. It was such a pleasure to work with this incredible couple! Best wishes and happiness always!

Guests wrote wedding wishes on different pieces of colored ribbon that were then hung on both sides of the gazebo surrounding the couple with love.
The groom took one look at his bride and this radiant smile did't leave his face for the rest of the day.
Mandala Floral made all of the incredible bouquets and centerpieces.
The Silvertip Pavilion has a definite rustic feel - ideal for a mountain wedding.
There were two types of centerpieces - tall vases filled with gerbera daisies tied to curly willow branches and a low centerpiece consisting of calla lilies wrapped around the inside of a glass globe with natural rock in the bottom.
The bride loves to bake! As wedding favours, she filled individual mason jars of cookie dough makings, personalizing the flavour to each guest - a fantastic and original idea!
Cake Creations made the decadent tower of cupcakes - chocolate and red velvet!
Natalie and Aaron are such a wonderful couple! It has been an absoulte pleasure to work on their wedding with them. We wish them all the best as they embark on this new chapter of their lives together!
